
Dr. David P. Pryor
David P. Pryor, M.D., M.P.H. is the West Coast Medical Director for NBC Universal, is the founder of BlackWomensHealth.com and is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has a special expertise in wellness and health promotion.
He has served as a Medical Director for two of the three largest health insurance companies in the U.S. and has been at the center of efforts to coordinate of quality, cost effective care for patients. He is also a member of the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) Roundtable on Health Disparities.
Additionally, Dr. Pryor is Chair of Board for the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) Southern CA chapter and is the author of the book LifestyleDNA: Live Happier, Healthier, and More Energized.
A native of California, Dr. Pryor received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stanford University and completed his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego. He also has a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
